  • Atelier Liberty Launch party

What is the point in opening a second wonderful Atelier if we aren’t going to have a party for it? The plans for the celebration have been almost as in depth as for the salon opening itself, from the food and drinks to OMG the entertainment – Theo Adams Company is coming to spoil us with drama, song, dance, emotion and from what I hear 12 tambourines and just as many confetti canons.

The Atelier Launch Party has been through a speedy evolution, and the development of where we begun, to where we are two days before the event is as close to motherhood as I’m yet to get. I can’t wait to see it in fruition, to see all our wonderful friends, fabulous clients and appreciated supporters celebrating a successful year at Lansdowne, and an exciting opening at Liberty. Three designer DJ’s, much lovely Champagne, entertainment to lose your head to and some of our delicious Atelier-type food will no doubt be a night to remember!!

A little sneak peak about the Theo Adams Company: “The Theo Adams Company is a London based group of talented and passionate dancers, musicians, actors, singers and artists from across the globe, brought together by self-taught 21 year old artist and director Theo Adams. Their debut production was premiered on 4th January 2008 in front of an audience of 4000 at the Tate Britain, London. They have since gone on to stage their ambitious productions at some of the world’s most prestigious theatres and museums as well as more unexpected venues, from a 13th Century cathedral in Austria to a monumental warehouse in Tokyo. They have received wild notoriety and acclaim along the way from both audiences and critics.

Entirely self-funded, managed and motivated, this new generation of interdisciplinary collaborators provide an uncompromised vision that is as exciting, artistic and powerful as it is unusual.”

Special thanks to TEAM THEO & the delightful Louis Matthewman who have both made an uphill struggle feel like a pleasant country ramble.

I won’t give the whole game away here, but stay tuned for the review, which can be found here on Wednesday.
